I've got R2 tomorrow then that one on Wednesday, still trying to decide which route to do the flat one, the one with the hill or to try a longer route around the village with only one hill to tackle. How did you find the 20 minute went compared to your expectations of how it would be?

I also did run 3 today and chose a flat route with a little hill. I was really worried about doing the run but after lots of encouragement on here and some words of wisdom from others who had already done it, I was ready.

It's definitely a case of mind over matter as I told myself I could do it and I did! Dare I say I actually found it a lot easier than I had imagined!! Good luck, you'll do it too.

Hi plop. As with all the runs, apart from the early ones, I found it much easier than I thought I would. I'm a treadmilll runner, so that helps a lot I think with pacing, and my pace is slow! but I'm fine with that.

My usual routine is 1st quarter, hating it and having to force myself to carry on. 2nd Quarter starting to get into it, 3rd Quarter thinking... I might actually do this, and Q4 enjoying it.

Good luck with it!

Really well done. W5R3 is the real milestone run of the program and it should give you great confidence going forward.

I know I can do the time now and that's a big hurdle for me. I honestly think that 20mins is the longest I've run for in my entire life.

Well done! It's amazing, isn't it! I did mine last week and the yesterday did a parkrun while sticking to the plan for wk6r1. I never even noticed the five min runs and even the 8 minute flew by. Whoever designed the plan must have been pretty clever because I really could not see it happening but it did :)

It was such a good feeling, and the best part is I'm actually starting to notice an increase in fitness more generally.
