9 weeks ago when i started 60 secs running 90secs walking i felt that a 5k run was a long long way off. My wife and i have stuck to it and changed our calorie intake and are feeling the benefit and now running with enthusiasm and wanting more. My aim now is to keep on running to lose a further stone so i can then improve my road cycling. Last yrs 3 pistes cycle race, see about it online.... was brutal and as i have not trained enough for this yrs at the end of May i now have time to achieve my goal of finishing in under 9 hours next year when fully fit. The running is part of my training plan so thanks Laura and everyone who has posted and especially my wife for sticking with it which gives encouragement.
