I loved it! The time passes much more pleasantly than clock-watching on the dreadmill and I enjoyed the challenges of mini hills (nowhere is flat around here).
I do have a feeling I was even slower outside than on the treadmill because I was trying not to get too enthusiastic and burn out too fast.
So that is it, unless it snows, all my runs are outside from now on.

Brilliant - you're out there! It's much more fun than stuck on some machine inside (I think anyway!). And you'll find that running in snow can be great as well! My graduation run was in snow😈
Thanks JaySee, it was much better indeed. I think it really depends on the type of snow and the level of iciness, although I am really hoping that wont be an issue in May!
Brilliant. Glad you enjoyed your run in the fresh air. Speed is not at all important, slow means you will have energy left for the end of these longer runs.
Wonderful!!! I can't help but feel a little jealous at how far ahead of me you are!! I'm still on the injury couch and thinking I'm going to have to repeat week 5 before I progress, but, don't get me wrong, I'm totally stoked for you 😃😃😃
