Good evening to you all, I'm new here and completed W2R1 earlier. Coming up to 59 in a few months and recently loosing a bit of weight I've decided it's time to be more active. Hope I haven't left it too late!  Looking forward to reading your posts, gaining some tips and inspiration from those ahead of me.

It's never too late to start - there are some people on this forum older than you! Well done for taking the first steps, you won't regret it!

Thank you for the encouragement, I'm inspired but some of the posts I've read. Seems like a lovely little community. Already looking forward to the next run.

Well done you. I'm 58 and just about to start WK4. I'm doing mine in a gym to start but will attempt the outside soon xx

Well done to you too!  I've had a sneaky look (listen) to week 3. 3 minutes running seems quite daunting. Hopefully will be trying that on Sunday.

Keep up the good work

Welcome and well done on the weight loss and on getting to week 2. There are loads of us in our 50's, 60's and even 70's having an absolute ball with this running so you are not leaving it too late. Keep going, post here and enjoy yourself!

Never too late ! We also have someone in their 80's on here !

Welcome aboard, slow and steady is the way and have fun ! :-) xxx

Don't worry about week 3, you've already done the hardest one.  I found Week1 R1 was the most daunting, I needed a lot of courage to kick that one off .  As everyone says, age means nothing on C25K, just take it slow and steady and follow Laura's guidance.

Thank you all for the encouragement, such a friendly group. I'm off out this evening on W2 R2 and looking forward to it at the moment. Certainly have a great sense of achievement after a run which hopefully will grow as I work my way through each week. Thanks again!
