I am an active older woman trying to maintain my active lifestyle despite aches and pains. I run, go to the gym and walk my dogs

Lately my left hip has been painful after sitting and when I first start moving. Pain goes away after walking/running for awhile.  Wondering if anyone else has had to his problem and if they have found effective  ways to deal with this

I am 52, have had a knee niggle and even a painful shin but rest sorted those out.  No hip problems though.  Firstly, I would see a GP for a check up because wouldn't want to give you wrong advice.  Then perhaps they can recommend some stretch and flex exercises for the hip area.  Hope it works out for u
