Dust If You Must.. a little poem from my daughter :)

Dust If you must, but wouldn't it be better

To paint a picture or write a letter,

Bake a cake of plant  a seed,

Ponder the difference between want and need?

Dust If you must,but there's not much time,

With rivers to swim and mountains to climb,

Music to hear and books to read

Friends to cherish and life to lead

Dust If you must,but the world's out there,

With the sun in your eyes,the wind in your hair

A flutter of snow,a shower of rain

This day will not come around again.

Dust If you must,but bear in mind,

Old age will come and its not kind

And when you go_ and go you must- 

You yourself will make more dust...  

Motto of this for me.. let's go kick up some dust !!!

I must confess to being  messy and not the most houseproud! I try but somehow it just doesnt happen!!but my car did get its yearly wash today for its MOT!😊

I love this poem. I wish I was one of those people who's house is spotless, but I'm not and I never will be.

Love it! My daughter is 15 and we've crossed over a line...she used to badger me to spend more time with her, now I have to badger her to spend time with me....life goes by so quickly, this is a good reminder to slow down xx
