Just ran for three minutes , in the dark , everything wobbled and tried to escape via the decreasing fabric around my flab , but its a start , a mortifying one ,I feel heavier than when walking , I guess thats the motion , not youse to it , this body has been static for about 30 years , well first step done ,now I need to follow the plan .

First step

Well done for getting out there and good luck with the programme, lots of success stories on here to keep you motivated
Well done
I think I spend more time pulling my leggings up & top down under my fleece trying not to look like a homeless whale while I'm running haha

Go you! I think a lot of us started there. I did the first 3 weeks under cover of darkness and now I don't give a monkey's chuff who sees me staggering along. You've done the hardest thing by getting off your arse and out there - you'll have ups and downs along the way but you'll never feel worse than you did sitting on the sofa

Congratulations βΊ Taking the first step is the hardest part but you've done it ! Trust in the programme and it can change your life. Good luck and keep posting on here for support.

Congratulations, you are on your way!

That is absolutely the key, follow the programme. It is so well tried and tested you can have real confidence in it. Take it slowly on the runs and slower still if you are struggling rather than stopping. Listen to your body and take an extra rest day if you need to. That is the summary of what I've picked up from this forum so far and it has served me well. Good luck and keep us posted with your progress.

Well done, that's just brilliant. Ignore any wobbles, nobody's looking, head up proud because you're doing great x

Stick with the plan, you can do it! Keep posting, as it'll be great when you graduate and look back on what you've achieved π
