Anyone have a similar problem? It was cold this morning, we had a frost over night and I like to run early in the morning. I'm hoping its because of the cold that my eyes water a lot. Anyone else having this problem? Anyway, W1R3 done. Feeling happy! Bex

Weepy eyes
No, but my glasses fog over CONSTANTLY. Nightmare. Well done you for W1!!!
I often have weepy eyes in the morning, but find I just have to endure it, with lots of tissues to mop up. Its probably, and ironically, dry eye syndrome, which afflicts lots of us as we get older. I find it's worse in the cold or if it's windy. Lubricating eye drops can help; I get some from my optician called Hycosan extra, which don't have preservatives so don't sting. They're quite expensive but last ages and are well worth it.
And steaming up specs are a problem, too ..........!
Yes I get this when it is windy. Take lots of tissues.
I have the same problem, and even went to the GP about it. He thought it might be an allergy of sorts, and gave me eyedrops for it which did nothing to solve the problem. However, glad to hear I'm not the only person who suffers this!
Yes, sadly there seems to be nothing I can do about it but my eyes water a lot when it's cold. I run with a wrist band to mop them with. Sometimes I envy all these ladies who seem able to run with a full face of make up - not only would my foundation slide off my sweaty face, but my mascara would make me look like a panda
Well done on completing Week 1! Enjoy Week 2 and happy running
Strangely I've had this recently, for the first 5 mins or so of my run, my eyes stream - it drips down my face and off my chin... then it stops....
