Unexpected run today and week 7 done!!

My husband looked at me like I had two heads this morning when I dived out of bed at 8.15, took a look outside and announced I was going for my run. To be fair I usually have the weekend off.My thinking- it's a beautiful day and it might be raining tomorrow when I usually go. So off I went.

It's the only run this week that I have completed without a few moments stop so did the full 25. Was inspired by someone's sign hanging in their window along the lines of "never give up" ( or something like that) just as I was flagging a bit. The Lord moves in mysterious ways! Back home for a lovely brekkie of bacon egg and avocado☺

Latest dilemma-should I repeat a couple more til I have done 25 non stop again? 28 seems like one small step for man but a giant step for man kind ( ie me).

Have a good week xx

Well done you! This is my week to complete week 7. Do you want to repeat? Only you know for sure. Mentally it is a good achievement and of course you can run for 28 minutes a few weeks back you would have been amazed you could run for 5 🙂

Isn't it a good feeling when your husband looks at you as if you're mad! They're really very proud! Mine did the same yesterday. Later we went walking with a friend who got tired quite quickly and asked us if we were the same. I said no and that I'd been running in the morning aswell. She looked at me incredulously and wouldn't believe me until my husband chipped in and confirmed that I had indeed been out for a run. He sounded really proud of his decrepit old wife! Really quite sweet!

Give week 8 a go - see how you feel - just keep it slow
