W1R1 ....again!!

I really want to run a little faster. I may never reach the giddy heights of 5K in 30 minutes, but I am sure I can get a wee bit quicker, so I did W1R1 with a twist! I ran the walk bits at my constipated snail pace and ran the run bits as fast as I could.....still not fast, but better. It was really good fun, and the run went really quickly. Next time I am going to warm up first and do the 5 minute warm up and cool down walks as runs too. Roll on Thursday!

Intervals are a recognised route to greater speed.

What a great idea, I did wonder about keeping my relationship with Mr Smooth going.... how much time post graduation did you have before doing this method?

I only graduated 2 months ago. I have done the stepping stones 3 times which I enjoyed. Otherwise I have been mixing up longer and shorter runs.

It was really nice going back to the beginning. I am weird because I really like the music on the podcasts.😄
