Well what a week tried and got beat manage to run for 9 of the 20 minutes then I felt like I was going to die. I'm blaming it on having dinner before and lack of sleep

So I'm thinking of trying again Sunday or might just repleat week 5

I did the same on W5R3 a couple of weeks back - walked for 30 seconds only 5 mins in, then again for 2 mins or so of the last 5. With much encouragement from the lovely folks on here, I went out again on the Sunday, started slower and managed the full 20 mins, if not exactly 'with ease', then certainly without too much difficulty!

So, write today off as 'one of those runs', and try again on Sunday - you'll nail it :)

Try again don't repeat the week ! Take it really slow and you will make it. Remember its about time not speed or distance until you want it to be !

You'll nail it next time - that was the first run I repeated during the program. Just run as slow as you can go. You'll do just fine.

Full tummy and tiredness...not a good combination; just repeat the run, and head onwards and upwards :)

I say repeat the run. You'll be surprised how "easy" it seems. And the feeling of exhilaration afterwards👍😎

The C25K programme is very challenging and only you know what is going to feel right for you. Repeating the whole week would allow you to really work towards run 3 and every individual run builds up fitness, if you are super excited, you could just repeat the last one. You will definitely do week 5 (however you choose to do it) next time. Nice and steady, relaxed and get a rhythm that is easy to keep going and breathe well so there is plenty of oxygen in your lungs

I did W5R3 when I already felt really tired, and I felt rough for a couple of days afterwards. Make sure you take it really slow and if you feel you need to repeat the week to build confidence then do that, there is no rush.

I'd agree just try that run again - but without the heavy meal. You'll almost certainly surprise yourself. Time enough to go back to the beginning of Week 5 if you find you still can't manage it - but I bet you can, and will sail on into Week 6!!!

A full stomach doesn't help! However, we all have our ups and downs, so don't dwell on it, you'll get it next time!!
