A rather strange hamstring strain

Seem to have picked up a strain but its different to any other I have ever had. I pulled a hamstring back in my younger, footballing years and it was a sudden sharp pain. Trying to run it off was impossible.

As I have said, this one is a bit different. I can jog, I can sprint. Its afterwards while resting that it hurts.

Anyone experienced anything similar?

Anyhoo, time for some ice and pampering ( some chance :) )

mm - not sure - all my issues have been with my calf!

have you tried stretching it out / using a roller??

I stretched it quite a bit after the run. Did some ice last night and it seems much better. Will give it a few days and then do a gentle run I think.
