Started running home from work. I bought a cheapy rucksack off Amazon but its bouncing about a lot and leaving chaffing marks on my neck. Any good recommendations? Would like to carry the usual lady things I.e make up, shoes, clothes and at a push a coat, preferably with chest straps. Everything I seem to see is really expensive. Thanks.

All you really need is a small back with a chest and waist buckle, the ones that can tighten up the luggage compartment are best to stop things inside bouncing. But I just pad it out with a jacket or jumper.
Thanks Paul, I've got soo much karrimor stuff I feel like a running advertisement for them. I've been to two sports directs so far and have to admit I wasn't impressed with their range. Infact I bought one the other day from there, got home and ran up the hallway with it on my back and it too rubbed against my neck. 😑
I use this one for the occasional running to work and if I have more stuff with me on a trail run. You can add a hydration pouch, but I don't use it for that. I really like it and can get clothes and shoes in if they are not too thick/big (although I keep some work shoes at work so I don't need to carry them).
I use an across the body rucksack as I had a frozen shoulder and couldn't cope with the straps on my neck/shoulder. Not sure how bouncy it would be. I'm going to be running to and from work soon too so I will try it out and let you know.
To a degree you get what you pay for. I wouldn't touch Karrimor with a bargepole, they used to make to of the range kit, then got bought out by Sportsdirect who slap the Karrimor name on cheap and nasty(ish) kit.
I use a Dueter Speedlite 15 pack, Dueter are well thought of in the Outdoors world. I used to run 5k to work and then home again with no problems. They do the Speedlight in different sizes, so worth a look. I see they have them on special offer at the moment.
