Week 3 run 2

Haven't really been taking this program seriously, as I can run - sometimes. But not fast and not consistently. Reading through this website has made me realise though that I need to go for it if I want to run properly. So, though it wasn't planned I got my gear on this evening and did run 2 of week 3. Actually felt like I was running at times. Last run of week 3 now planned for Tuesday. Thanks to all for the motivation!

Go you...did you start the programme, or go straight to Week 3?

I think you are right, the structure of the whole nine weeks will keep you focussed. It certainly worked for a whole lot of us!

Enjoy your run Tuesday! :)

Yes I did do W1 and W2. But I've been doing all sorts of stuff in between aswell. Sometimes I just set off from home at a jog and do my full 4 or 5 km. Sometimes I just get half way round and stop, or walk the first half and jog the second. Just as I feel like it. As I said, no structure. I want to do 5km 3x a week, but the current "routine" is not cutting it. Bit more discipline required and I hope the programme will help.

Well done!!! I'm currently on a repeat of the programme after injury, and also am on Week 3. the programme really does work from experience, so indeed it is worth digging in and making your mind up to do it properly, as it does pay dividends. And also it is quite enjoyable, especially the sense of achievement in Week 9!! Keep going!! x
