As long as we finish that's the main thing. I think picking up the pace would be better for next weeks program. This way we will know how much energy is left and mentally know that we could have done X amount more.

Yeh that's true! I'm actually looking forward to the last one! I wanted to get all 3 in within a weigh in week if that makes sense. I shall probably do first run of week 6 on sunday as I am away for the night one of the days I would normally run next week.

It's so good! I've been putting bits and bobs on facebook and I think I've started a couch to 5k surge. I think they are looking at me thinking that if I can do it anyone can!!! Haha!

Very well done both of you. You are about to do the dreaded 20 minute run, but trust me, you will be fine! Be aware that W6D1 sometimes knocks people for six again because you take breaks again - if you know to expect it you will be grand - keep up the good work both of you - looking forward to seeing those shiny graduate badges! :)

Well done both of you. Be careful about trying to up the pace. At the moment your main aim is to complete the programme, and pushing too hard increases the risk of injury. That said, I ran the whole of C25k as fast as I could, maintaining a pace that could be sustained for the whole run and didn't get injured. Keep going.

Keep running, keep smiling.

While u r on the programme, no need to try and build speed, as long as u can do the run times. I found my speed picked up without even trying once I graduated, be careful because the increase in weekly run time could be more than enough. Injury is the last thing we need! Newly done, nice steady pace and distance covered is excellent too

I completely agree, you feel great, you feel confident, don't be misled into thinking you can do the next run easily. Stick with what you know works, I tried the 20 mins, felt great early on, ran too quick and burnt out at 11 minutes. Tried it again a few days later at my normal pace and did it but at the end I was knackered.

Like the others I'd say keep slow and steady til you graduate, plenty of time to speed up later

Thanks guys, I shan't be going too fast! I am so bloody determined to do this so I am not going to injure myself by being too confident.

Thank you for all the advice it's really appreciated.
