...and can't believe I've only just found this forum!
I did my final run of week 9 today and I really feel like a runner now!
I started the programme after a year of poor health - repeated bouts of tonsillitis, a kidney infection and then glandular fever last summer. I was feeling particularly unfit after that one as it takes a while to get over, so I thought it was time to get moving again. I liked the idea of building up strength and doing a little more each week.
I could barely run for 1 minute at the start and now I can run for 30! It feels great. I'm not sure if I've lost any weight, but I've definitely toned up a bit, and don't get out of breath so easily. More importantly, my overall health has been much better - can running/exercise boost your immune system?
Think I'm only managing about 4k at the minute, so I'm going to work on my pace next
Here's (hopefully) to year of good health for everyone!

It's a great feeling isn't it. I did the Andy Murray fist pump when I finished but apparently that's optional. Well done on completing the course and I hope you continue with your running.
I hope 2016 is a lot better than what you had to endure in 2015.
Oh, remember to get your graduation badge to go alongside your name. You just reply to the pinned post for "graduation badge for January..".
Congratulations! It's a great feeling isn't it. I think any weight loss comes once you're running 3*30 minutes a week, inch loss does anyway as you tone
