Good! So you should be. That's the hardest bit over with. Have a rest day today and then get back out there. Go SLOWLY. We can't emphasise that enough. This prog is about slow and steady. Those who do so will get to Graduation safely and injury-free. Take care and have fun!
Well done, you should be proud I found that one quite hard work.Today I completed week5R3 which I wasn't looking forward to at all,but it was ok they've all been easier than the fist one. I did take it slowly (I'm sure some snails galloped by me) as I have with all the runs.Feel it's better to complete the program and then work on other bits. Also I have to take into consideration I'm 65 and haven't run since childhood.Have to say like yourself I feel proud and surprisingly I am enjoying it. Good luck with your future runs.
Good for you getting out there and getting started Rachel
Well done Rachael - you're on your way now!
Day 1 is the big one. I can remember that high feeling and if you can remember the feeling you'll not have many problems. Listen to the good advice of the people on here, Laura and keep posting your progress which gives everyone a good feeling. I still can't believe that before I started and finding it difficult to run for just 60 seconds on day 1 I can now run for 30+. Just believe in the programme and don't let anything out you off. Only 26 more daily challenges left.
Best wishes for 2016.
Well done Rach, yes you should be very proud of yourself !
You have just completed the first step of this fantastic challenge and it just gets better and better .
You wont regret this , I promise
Keep at it, slow and steady is the way xxx
Thanks everyone
If I am following it right, today should be a rest day but I really want to get out there again!
