Week 9 ... disaster or will I make it?

After doing my first of Week 9 runs on Monday with a cold and congratulating myself on still doing it, my planned Wednesday run didn't happen as by then was in the grip of almost flu with a chesty element in addition to the usual delights. Had to come home from work early yesterday as could barely move so not been able to go today either. My plan was Wednesday as my second run then my first park run on Saturday as my third run of the week but I am now seriously doubting whether I will pull this off. If I manage to get out tomorrow then there is still a modicum of hope but I'm gutted as had managed through hell and high water thus far. Always next week to repeat it I tell myself but its a bit of a bummer all the same. Anyway, happy new year everyone incase I don't get a chance to say it later x

We can't predict illness and graduation whenever it comes is still a major achievement. Trust yourself to do the right thing and whenever it happens, we will all cheer!

Hey, don't fret. This is only a minor hiccup in your running career. The whole of 2016 awaits you!

Enjoy your graduation run whenever it falls!

Aw I hope you're feeling better soon. Such a shame when our plans go awry, but look after yourself and don't bust a gut to get out there if you're not feeling so good. Graduation is just around the corner for you whatever, and then the real fun starts! x :-)

Happy New Year. Hope you feel better soon. By the sounds of it, you'd be better off staying in and resting for now. If graduation comes a bit later, it is no big deal.
