Jeez! Someone is trying to make this hard for me!!! Started my final week today after waking up yesterday with a throat full of razorblades and the beginning s of the snotties ... boo! I was arguing with myself all last night about whether you should run with a cold etc and on asking the other half the answer was along the lines of 'man up' ... thanks!!! So, this morning, I felt a bit ropey and the snots were increasing their intensity, throat a nasty piece of kit that I was hoping would disappear with a cuppa but alas no, however, I actually felt that I could do it. In times past when poorly I've eschewed anything other than the couch and a box of tissues. I figured as I'm a noisy mouth breather when running anyway (attractive picture I'm painting here I know!) that what the heck so went out and did it ... yet to look at the stats but I pushed for my longest distance to date and did just over 31 minutes to make sure I made it worth my while so feeling accomplished, like I've earned my day on the couch for the rest of today before going back to work tomorrow and looking forward to my penultimate run before my hopefully graduation one on Saturday which is going to be a park run ... hang in there everyone, we can do it

Well done for getting out there with the lurgy. Looking forward to reading your graduation post
Well done. Isn't it strange how the commitment to achieving graduation overcomes lots of things that would have been barriers to everything else previously.

Congrats wez70, well done! I have had few runs like that in the past and I am sure in the future too, but once you do it, you feel over the moon, don't you? Hope you have had a good rest after that run and treated yourself with a Hot Chocolate?!!
Good luck for your Park Run mate, that is a great way to graduate!!!
