Please use the new poll to log your run and then if you would like add your name in a post underneath. That way I can make a roll call of virtual runners over the three days and we can have a pie chart to see which day was the most popular.
Happy Christmas to you all and as always thank you for making this such a great space to spend time
Happy running.

Hi All, I have done my run today, Christmas Eve...
Mission 2 of Zombies Run, with the soundtrack of Jaws playing in the background . Scary stuff !Ha ha
4.5 km and 32 minutes.
Happy Christmas everyone ! xxx
I have done today too, as far as I am able. 10 mins warm up walk followed by 12 mins 60:30 run/walk, about 2.3k total. The furthest I have run since October and my first run outside since being banished to the IC and the gym. It's a start.....Just posting in case I don't get round parkrun on Boxing Day.
Did my run today, Christmas morning- 5k along the Coast Road to the next town with the dog. Dry and bright and very pleasant, also flatter feeling than I'd thought. Felt easy and glorious and I beat my fastest 5k time by a minute or so. Lots of runners out towards the end so it was very friendly too.
Did my run this morning. Christmas morning at 8h30. Parked the car in Dunchurch carpark then did my warm up walk up the road towards the M45 roundabout. After 5 minutes warm up walk I set Audiofuel Polyrunner 160bpm off on my little Sandisc Clip+ mp3 player and began my run. Turned down Halfway Lane towards Draycote Water. Run down the hill under the M45 and onto the reservoir periphery road. One lap of the reservoir and then back up the hill and towards Dunchurch. Stopped running where I had stopped my warm up walk, end walked back to the car in Dunchurch. At the car did my stretches before driving home. Nice weather, all in all a good 10km run. Great preperation for crimbo lunch :O)
5k Christmas Eve and another 5k Boxing Day ... ! both were very blustery days with rolling grey skies and spatters of cooling rain. Am feeling pleased that I managed to fit the runs in, between marathon sessions in the kitchen cooking endless huge piles of food! Am keeping away from the Quality Street but it's tempting....
Oh and got a Garmin Forerunner from lovely husband...haven't been so delighted since I got a telescope when I was 11. Now all I need to do is figure it out. Haven't used it yet but can't wait 😃
I ran 5k today on boxing day, 3 minutes faster than my last pb, in 34:48! Spurred on by very sporty relatives! no shin pain but achy calves hopefully ran off some of the food and cheese from yesterday!
