Time issues/ daylight meant a 5 mile trail today ( I had hoped for further) but it did give me a chance to try out my new Lupine head torch.
It was fabulous... Adjustable, 5 settings, comfy and no bouncy bouncy. I love running in the woods and I really felt like a wild animal amongst the trees as the light was fading and I ran strong...
Happy panthering

Lupine means wolf I think. Pity you couldn't get panther one!
My LED cap is way too feeble to be much use. it's ok to be seen I suppose. I have put a head torch on my Christmas list. I ran in the dark last night and could hardly see my feet even on the lit main road
It's hard to run strong if you can't see your feet properly so having the torch will really push you on. Great stuff!
Glad I'm not the only girl who likes running trails in the dark. People at work think I'm mad (They're right of course, but that's not related to running)

Head torches are wonderful. I replaced my Energiser one this year with a Geonaught model. The improvement was outstanding. The energiser torch had a horible beam pattern that was bright just in front of my feet, and also way off in the distance, but quite dim in between. The geonaught gives a very bright even pattern, the lamp part is tiny, and it is recharchgeable from usb cable, I love it
