I can't believe those photos are of a parkrun - where's the mud, the hills, the hidden tree branches waiting to trip you up ?!

Mud????? I believe that it has to rain before you can have mud.

Not on the trails around here - we sometimes seem to be in a permanent state of 'mudness', even without rain for weeks. I think they ship it in from somewhere...

Thanks Bazza, I'll keep that one in mind for when I'll be able to run again :) for the time being I'll stick to volunteering at my local one - just to keep a healthy degree of envy alive :)

We have a muddy trai,l even in the dry. Apparently the sub soil ended up on top with the loam underneath. Bah!

I'll have a good read of that Baz as my 5k today was rather meh. Thanks
