W8 done... bring on W9!

Not sure what happened to my original post.

Did W8R3 this morning - longest run yet 4.25km in 28 mins. I blame Laura! She said it's all about distance not speed. Surely though distance and speed are directly proportional if the time is fixed?!

Anyway... really looking forward to graduating next week!!!

Yes Laura has a lot to answer for! Well done on the run.

I think she means in general, once you are beyond the program itself - it's about the endurance rather than the pace.

Seems like you managed both on that run - 6m35s per km is good going! Great work!

Do make sure that you don't press the pace too much too soon - it would be frustrating to pick up an injury at this stage.

Good luck for the final week - time to make a plan for running after graduation. It's only a week away!

Happy running!

Well done! I have wk 8 run 2 tomorrow and am going to try the running track for the first time. My son is at athletics club so may as well make use of the facilities and venture a go! I'm thinking it'll be very dull compared with the countryside, but at least not muddy - and a bit bouncy.
