Worse run ever!

Went for a run tonight and what disaster it was, breathing all over place, legs feel like lead, couldn't get into a rhythm at all, pain across shoulders so gave up - had only ran for 6 mins felt more like 10 mins. Run on Monday was great considering I hadn't been out for 2 weeks. So disappointed with tonight's run!!!

Frustrating isn't it? I had a run like that last Friday and couldn't work out why until the next day when I went down with a sore throat / virus thing so I put it down to that. Hopefully you will be back to normal soon.

I've given up trying to find a reason for a bad run. I can do a run on 1 day & feel great then try and do the same route, time of day etc. and it's rubbish. You could be starting with a bug (I hope not) or 1 of a hundred other things. Just listen to your body - don't push too hard. Hopefully next time you'll be running like the wind!!
