I just finished the final run this morning. WOO HOO !!!!!! After finding the last 2 runs a bit of a push...( breathing wasn't great and legs like lead) I can't believe I have made it to the end (and only getting round to posting on here now!). It has been so good to read other posts and know others have gone through the same highs and lows..The site is great :-) and Laura has really kept me going ( till my iPod finally gave up the ghost on week 7..thankfully straight running at that stage but did miss the music!) Just to encourage you whatever stage of your C25K you are at...If I have been able to get there SO CAN YOU!

This is a habit I want to keep..now aiming for 5k. Only managing about 3.7 ..but measured on pedometer so not sure how accurate that was and anyway I keep telling myself its because of all the hilly bits on my route.. :-D

Well done! I would like to measure my running speed on a treadmill. Doing the programme outdoors but I think when I graduate I may start working on my speed. 10k per hour on the treadmill I guess is what we are all aiming for to do 5k in 30 mins of running. At this stage though (week 2) I'm only focussed on Laura's voice and running for the prescribed length of time!

All the best with it. Sounds good! Yep I found Laura's voice really kept me motivated :-)

Well done! It's a great feeling isn't it! You seem to be covering a similar distance to me, and I had quite a hilly last run too. We can only improve😉

A real achievement - and I agree that to anyone who doubts themselves, don't! just give it a try, you learn more than how to run!

so True :-) nice to hear someone else covering about the same distance too..That's encouraging! I was focusing on just keeping running..sometimes a struggle! ;-) Be good to hear how you get on..will just keep getting out there..onwards and upwards. All the best to you!

Many congratulations on becoming a c25k graduate -it's a great feeling isn't it! If you want to work out how far you're running, try looking on Mapometer. Just put in your postcode and you can plot your route on the map. It will give you an exact distance so you can work out your pace and speed. It's also really good for working out new routes. Happy postgraduate running :)

Glad you like it. I love it and use it loads, especially to get an idea of the elevation on a particular route. :)

Congrats on your graduation 😀

There's a programme, mapmyrun you can use to give you distance and how hilly etc. not used it, did my c25 on the treadmill, but the local running club do

Happy running

Congratulations! 🎉🎉🎉

Brilliant achievement!

I graduated two weeks ago and am doing a similar distance to you on the run section. I use an app called Runkeeper (free to download and use most functions) and it uses GPS to make my route and work out distance and pace etc. You can also write a little comment about your run which is quite helpful to look back over. I have found it really quite motivstinf as it is great when you get a PB. It is a slight double edged sword as it also shows you your worse runs but as long as you are strict with yourself and don't overanalyse it then I think it is really helpful. Works fine running in the background with Laura on and also music playing from my phone (iphone 5). Good luck!
