Well that's W6R2 done. No more breaks during the runs from hereonin. Didn't quite have the energy that I did last week and not sure why although I wasn't in any danger of failing to complete the run. But I'm a little more apprehensive about R3 than before. Telling my brain to remain positive!!

Haha, don't do drugs but a small G&T might be on the cards as I'm not running until Friday!!

I feel exactly the same this week. Just done week 6 run2 and completed it but was harder than running for 20 mins .... Feeling a little aprehensive about run 3 now tho. 😁 good luck !

Thanks for your comment. I guess we're both probably going to have a good R3 - putting today's lethargy behind us. Good luck.

Yes, remain positive, do!

You're following the programme so you'll be fine. Just go nice and steady and you'll finish the sessions

We all get days when we feel a bit more sluggish, not sure why, but if you know you're eating/drinking/sleeping well, that will go a long way towards making you feel more up for a run.

Stay focussed! Have fun!

I'm sure I will. Thanks for the encouragement.

I bet you worried about wk5 r3 too, but you got thru that! 😁 we all get sluggish days plodding is better than nothing, am sure you'll get back on your groove soon. Also when I got to the point you at I was finding the stop start harder than running straight through. Maybe you will find it easier than you think.

Good luck.

I did, and it went better than I imagined. Onwards (positively) to R3!! Many thanks.

I have just completed W6R2 and I also felt it was hard to do the 2nd lot of 10mins. I kept telling myself I had done 20 mins without a walking break and succeeded; and this helped me to push myself through.

I have also decided to run the other way around the fields for my next run on Friday, I an hoping it won't seem as daunting. Non stop here we come!

Hi. Yes it went well thanks. This morning I started Week 7 with the same run (25 mins). After the weekend excesses of wine, food (and golf) it was a bit sluggish but I got there. Looking forward to tomorrow's break before venturing out very early on Wednesday. Hope you're still enjoying it!
