Yummy breakfast

Just thought I would tell you about the yummy breakfast I made today! I'm not a big carb eater - don't like potatoes, rice, pasta and not overly fond on bread - so I'm always trying to find ways to get carbs in me as Im always reading that you need carbs for running. So! My breakfast today was three tablespoons of porridge oats mixed into a Muller light yoghurt. I mixed it up last night and put it in the fridge to 'soak'. Took it out this morning added a few berries and hey presto a cold but creamy porridge type breakfast! I'm chuffed with it - what do you think?

Sounds very yummy. They say oats are good for you too. I usually have a muesli with nuts in it and add fresh berries.

Cheers - I'll add muesli to my shopping list!

There's a similar Slimming World 'recipe' - overnight oats. Works well if you don't like hot porridge!

Ohh I'll need to Google it and see if they have some other breakfast options! Cheers for that! I found this 'recipe' in an ancient copy of Women's Health - my magazine hoarding paid off!

Sounds lovely! I have porridge with honey, almonds and fruit every morning and love it. Another good snack is a smoothie made with banana, mixed berries, greek yogurt, apple juice and a good spoonful of oats. Yum!

(This makes me sound far healthier than I actually am btw!!😉

I'll give it ago - possibly with a freddo frog chaser - don't want to be too healthy eh!!!

That sounds yummy, and no cooking so you can just scoff and run! I'll give it a go, thanks
