Wk 1 r2 - first pre-breakfast run!

With my body still aching from my first run, I thought I would test myself and try out morning running... before breakfast! Eek! To be honest, it was only the thought of porridge, honey and banana that got me round... but I did it!

I was quite pleased to find myself acclimatising to the running part quite quickly - round about the seventh 60-second run I started flagging though, and now I am totally dripping with sweat (sorry) - but also very happy that I actually braved the commuter-dodging and empty-stomach running experience. Maybe for the last time... who knows?!

Now for porridge - and coffee... vats of coffee...

Yeay... Love those early morning runs and brekkie afterwards.. great!

Well done you! :)

I was out just before it got light this morning, and it was fantastic.. sets you up for the day!

You are doing fine and will be heading out there again early, I know you will.

Onward and Upward!

I find the runs in the morning put a skip your step for the rest of the day. I always have a banana before had 'just to keep me going' then like you shower, porridge and tea and all is well with the world. No one can take it away from you 😊

Ah, that's lovely! I have to say, an hour and a half after finishing and I do feel great... and full of energy, weirdly! Thanks - from another Clairey P πŸ˜‰

A morning run definitely sets you up for the day (especially if there's porridge and honey in the mix)!

That's another one under your belt :) Well done!

I can't run on empty so I do the porridge honey thing beforehand πŸ˜€

Don't push these runs! Go really slowly, and you'll be fine πŸ˜€

Have fun! πŸƒβ€β™€οΈ

Well done! I always run before breakfast and love it - it makes my brain feel fully awake and I don't have any food to weigh me down. Then a lovely cuppa and some breakfast when I get back before a long hot shower. Perfect start to the day πŸ˜€
