Running with darth vadar

With headphones on I can hear my breathing so loud in my head that I sound like darth vadar! Just wondered if anyone else gets this.

W2 2nd time round, so run 5 today. Went ok as my knees hurt less. Still hard though. Took it very slow. Might try w3 on Sunday.

Am trying to think of Star Wars puns now but I'm too tired. Shower time!

I have the same issue as well....I am sure people can hear me when I am running! Don't worry about it...

I noticed that when my wireless headphones ran out of battery the other day that my breathing sounded awful.

It sounded as though I was struggling but I wasn't.

I guess that's how it is but that gave me a shock.

Well done to be too tired to think of Star Wars puns. That means you really gave it stick. :-)

I know it sounds terrible which is why I put some music on so I can't hear it

Try slowing down a bit. Laura does tell you to go slowly.

I can hear my breathing even with headphones on too! Today I did my last run of C25K (yay!) and I tried breathing into my belly rather than my chest and I think it was less noisy... it was certainly better in terms of not gasping for air and feeling as though I couldn't breathe! I don't think I'll ever be a silent runner/jogger!

Wow well done on graduating! Good to know that it's possible to get there, even with darth breathing ;)

My breathing sounds like I'm running with an asthmatic badger! You are not alone. (Largely cos I guess the Force is with you....sorry I'll get my coat).

Whilst I've never met an asthmatic badger your comment made me giggle. I'll be thinking about they now rather than darth vadar next time :D
