Did my 5th Park Run and got a time of 35.24 3 secs slower than my PB but it was really windy and I struggled against it on the way back so overall very happy :) :) :) May miss Park Run next week for Run or Dye ;)

That's a great time for your 5th parkrun, just think because of the wind going against you it will help your future runs when there isn't any wind and you'll see that your time is a new PB :)

Take care,

Thank you Siobhan without that wind it probably would have been a PB :) There is a Facebook page for the Southsea Park Run and they were all saying how hard the wind was and of course at the beach there is no shelter! I am going to volunteer maybe next week as may not run so I can go and do the Run or Dye !! They often ask for photographers so may do that ! x

It does sound bad, we just had a bit of rain before the run and then after the run, luckily it was dry and had no wind during the run, just think the next time you run the parkrun you'll probably get a PB as long as there is no wind but this could be practice for the next time there is wind and you could still get a PB :) good luck with the volunteering, never knew you could volunteer to be a photographer, x
