After struggling on the last run I made sure I kept a steady, slow pace this time, and wahoo, I made it! Ok, so I didn't run quite as far, but who cares - I ran! Didn't feel too shattered, and didn't feel like I needed to stop, which was great.
And as I was wearing running gear on the school run, lots of my friends are now aware I'm doing this. I was quite surprised how many other running mums I saw today too - guess you notice these things more when you're doing it yourself. Maybe I'll go running with one of them when I've progressed more - they all look much fitter than me at the moment.
Looking forward to starting w3 on Sunday 😃

Well done! On both counts - successfully completing the run, and wearing your running gear with pride. My C25K "coming out" wasn't easy - my elderly neighbours looked at me as if I'd gone stark raving bonkers when they saw me in lycra leggings
Great news, there isn't much point in going fast at this stage, you completed your run and feel as if going to the next level is exciting! Getting the right pace will help you increase running time, still not getting out of breath and hopefully no injuries too 😀 Julie
