Week 6 done.

Week 6 has been an odd kind of week. R1 was completed with a smile on my face. R2 was awful as I was heavy legged and aching after walking to and from the allotment the day before and doing a lot of work while I was there. The positive about that is that not long ago I couldn't have managed the walk and the large amount of work, so I'm obviously fitter.

Run 3 tonight was okay and I covered 2.9km in the 25 minutes.

I feel quite flat tonight, which is in complete contrast to the euphoria that I felt after running for 20 minutes last week.

I'm not quite sure why that is.

It can happen like that, the euphoria of that 1st long run and then back to run/walks does throw a lot of people ..

Don't dwell on it , you completed week 6 you are 2/3rds of the way through now :) keep at it you doing great :D

Don't worry about it! Although in some ways I enjoyed week 6 more than week 5 it seems it is one week of the program that leaves a lot of people feeling flat! One of those to put behind you and move forwards. And just think how far you've come since your very first run! :) Only 3 weeks left now :)
