Fab :) I'm 2 days behind you, I did my first postgrad run this morning. Beautiful weather, good temperature, birds singing in the trees...

That is excellent, slow and sure will get you to your goal. I did a sneaky 5K yesterday (I am on week 7,run 3 tomorrow) and did the distance in 43 minutes which I was ok with. It will just be practice now and building stamina - any tips for me?? Julie

Wow Julie. That's really good going. I never attempted till o had graduated. So well done. Yesterday I tried the 5k+ to try and bring time down but went out to fast for me anyway and so the 2and 3km were sluggish. Just keep it steady. Well done though

I sort of did it by accident! I was supposed to be running for 25 mins and thought I would carry on to 30, then maybe just run a bit longer and within another 10 minutes, Runkeeper told me it was 4.1 km so I thought I would see if I could keep going to 5K. Felt it though, made sure I rested all that day (in bed with the electric blanket on) and in my rest day just pottered about and feel ok. Booing to see how I am tomorrow though, I have a Toddler Group to run in the morning and just thinking I will run on Tarmac path for 30 minutes! Julie
