The weather was decidedly uninviting this morning, the hill was shrouded in drizzle and mist, but I'd said on here last week that my graduation run would be today so that was the motivation I needed to get my trainers on and slog round in the rain
I tweaked my W9R2 route so that I had to start by running up to the top of my hill & then coast down it, feel much less guilty about that fun dash back down having heaved myself up in the first place. Then back into the woods and met my big long hill nemesis at 22 mins to go, much later in the circuit than usual but still managed it even on tiring legs. Hurrah! Feeling really confident about building on this now.
Bit slower than Saturday's run as I had more uphill effort but still managed to clock 5.2km for the running part so v happy. Off to claim my grad badge! Hope everyone else is having a good bank hol

Well done and congrats. Not too many manage 5k in 30 mins at the time of graduating and far less on hilly routes so you should be rightfully very proud.
Thanks everyone think I'll carry on with the W9 podcast for a few weeks and then decide what to do next, whether that's increase distance or just carry on at this level. I'm not too keen on running in the dark here as there's boar in the woods so longer runs will become more difficult as the nights draw in, but I don't want to let it slip over the winter.
