I just can't believe how well I feel. I keep running a 5k twice a week with a couple of friends and can say that I feel great. Really starting to get the benefit of all the effort now.
I don't push it - we from time to time take ourselves on adventures to some of the most wonderful Shropshire sights. Not really wanting to do any more than the 5k don't really have the time for much more excercise.

There's no real need to do more, I don't think. One day you might think of stretching it out to say 6km, just to buy yourself an extra km of recovery distance if you get injured, but even that's something you could just agree with yourself to handle by reversing back however far you have to into c25k to get back to where you are now, if ever it should become necessary.
It still takes me roughly 38 /35 minutes to run the 5k I think that's just about enough. I don't mentally want to challenge myself to any more, if anything maybe a odd couple of seconds less. I must admit still the last 1k feels like hell. Although for the first time this week I pushed myself just a little bit stretched my legs a little to get to the end of my run. Felt great afterwards after I'd cooled down.
Sounds like you've hit the spot, so yes I agree: Don't fix what's not broken. Sometimes the pleasure of running is actually just the relief that follows, hey?
