Last night I decided to try one of the 5K+ podcasts and I went for the speed one which I really enjoyed, I like the interval aspect of it and people keep telling me interval training burns more calories...Fantastic I'm all in favour of that!!
Is anyone else using these podcasts and how are you finding them? I'm planning to increase my distance gradually when I run at the weekend and use these other podcasts in the week (I tend to run twice a week)

I am about to do the speed podcast for the second time....I also enjoyed it; stamina podcast was ok (and I am sure it's effective), but I found it much harder work.
I like speed podcast too, I try to do it once a week. Not keen on stepping stone but I like stamina and try to do that once a week too with the plan to carry on running once it ends to increase distance. I really like the structure and being told what to do, before using the podcasts my running was a bit aimless.
I'm a fan of the 5k+ podcasts. I run twice during the week then a longer run on Saturday. By adding 1/2k a week on Saturday I got up to 10k. Worked really well for me. So much so that I entered 2 10k races which are looming on the horizon ☺
thanks all, I have to admit to being scared of the thought of 10k...eeek but when I started 5k sounded impossible so I'm guessing if I take it slowly gradually I'll get there, good luck with your races Sharon
I love this one, and usually do it once a week. I like it because it's short. That said the other day I was working so hard I thought I might throw up!
