Well that was a journey I never thought I would embark on. I never thought I would ever run but I embarked on c25k and completed W9r3 today. What a feeling!! It has rested me both mentally and physically but I did it. I haven't written much on here but I have read the blogs frequently. They have been a valuable source of inspiration and encouragement. So thank you everyone! I'm not quite at the 5k yet - I pushed myself on r2 and managed 4k in 38 mins - very proud of myself - especially considering I just about managed the 1mins on w1. I'm thinking of moving onto a 10k programme next week. I feel I still need the security of a podcast. To anyone who is thinking of starting c25k -do it - if I can then I'm sure anyone can. The feeling you get when you acieve it is immense.

Well done. Every time I hear someone has graduated, I feel more inspired to carry on and reach that milestone, too. I really do feel like a real runner already, but won't it be great to one day say, "I did it!"

That was exactly how I felt and did actually say 'I did it' quite loudly and I didn't care who heard me. I'm now planning for the next 'I did it' moment! Good luck with yours.

Thanks. And now as far as both our next "I did it" moments go, we can each say to ourselves in someone else's voice, "You can Do It ;-) "

Congratulations! I felt exactly like you did at week 1, but now at W7R3, I find my body shape has changed, my weight is going down (albeit very gradually) & I feel so much better overall. The question is why didn't I do it sooner?!
