Am I the only person who's just started? Everybody else seems so much further along than I am!!

I'm just gearing up for W3R2, and would love to compare notes/progress for motivation with someone at a similar point in their journey.....

Nooo, you won't be the only person just starting. Some people just don't post - the more you post, the more support you get. I'm now heading for my graduation run and this forum has been the thing that has kept me going at times. Well done for getting through the first few weeks and good luck for the rest... you'll find others in week 3 I'm sure, but even if you don't everyone on here will give you support, motivation and advice.

...plus if you click on the week 3 topic posts you might find some other C25K ers at the same point...

Hi Brummy, I'm doing w4 r2 today, so only a week ahead of you. How are you finding the programme so far?

I have also just started week 3. Did Wk3R1 this morning. I am amazed I managed to run for three minutes when two weeks ago I struggled to run for one. My left knee is grumbling so I had to put a support on it today, but ti held up well and I am looking forward to run two later this week. Hope your run two goes well. x

I've just completed w3r3! How was your run? I found w3r2 hard work, but think that had as much to do with spending my rest day doing heavy gardening so my muscles were doing some serious complaining! Run 3 was much better :-)

Hi Suzy - have you done w3r3 today? How'd you get on??

Hi! Today was my w4r1 and I did it! I was genuinely surprised that it was hard work but not impossible. ..even though I'd convinced myself out was a big jump up. How was your w3r3? Still going good? It's such a great feeling when you complete a week isn't ?

Thank you all! Feel very smug that I made it out and back (despite the rain!).

Run went well and could even have run a little more (I think!!) when Laura told me to stop. I could barely run for a minute the weeks ago so I'm amazed!

It's a great feeling isn't it when you feel you have more in the tank and could carry on!

Hey Brummymummy,

I'm on week 6 should be doing my week 3 run today if I ever get out of work. I'm happy to cheer on a fellow Brummy :)

Hi. I'm a couple of days behind you. I'm doing run 2 today! I found run 1 much better than expected so sort of looking forward to today but usually find the second run the hardest of the three. Let me know how you get on with run 3!

I always find run 2 the hardest too...I think I'm always amazed I can do it for run 1 and am so relieved that it's run 3. How did run 2 go?

Found run 2 hard, as expected, but finished it ok. Am always so pleased to be able to make it to the end of each individual run. Every run feels like a massive achievement at the moment. Knee is niggling today but will not be defeated! How are you getting on?

I found week 3 run 3 hard (after a busy day at work!).

But had my 10 year old scootering along next to me shouting out encouragement! "C'mon mom - dig deep!!". So i managed it......... All without stopping.

I've got a proper chufty face.

Hello im new 🙈 found this forum is there anyone local where do you do your runs is there a meeting point?

Thank you.

Jackie

Welcome Jaks111 I'm sure there must be someone local to you where are you based? Maybe write a brand new post asking the same question regarding location you might get a few more responses too :) Good luck
