Week3 day1 : Anyone out there finding this... - Couch to 5K
Week3 day1
Hey, well done, you did it.😃
I could never do the breathing bit so I always just do what feels right for me. just finished week 6 now so can't be too bad.
Keep going
Jxx
W3R1 has definitely been one of my hardest so far (currently about to start W5) and I didnt do the breathing part religiously either, just took the general gist which was to take steady, slower breaths if I remember correctly. I found R2 & R3 much easier - possibly because I ran in a less hilly area!
Good luck and keep at it - you did it so you should be proud x
Well done for completing it! W3 r1 has been my hardest to date. Only kept going thinking of the people on this forum. R2 and R3 much easier. I slowed my jogging down and my breathing came easier.
Go slower! Give yourself time to breeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeathe.
Don't worry, this is normal stuff. It's hard when you're fresh off the couch. Just nice and steady, slow jogging is all that's needed
Have fun!
If you're new to running then you have every right to go slow. C25k is not a race, it's not about time or distance, it's about completing each session. That's all
Don't be negative. Think positive. You're off the sofa and moving. Run nice and slow and you'll have enough puff to get round and finish the job. Tick it off and line up the next run. Have fun! This is life-changing stuff
I ws 56 when I started C25k. There are loads of over 60's and 70's on here. Probably 80's knowing C25k. How old are you by the way?
Oh, spring chicken then! We have quite a few here your age and older. They'll be along
