Early morning running

I'm currently doing Week 5 and usually run in the evenings. I've tried a couple of times to run early in the morning (6am) and really struggle. Just wondered if anyone else has the same problem. I'm asthmatic and find it's my breathing that causes the issue. I have my inhalers and antihistamine before going out but I wonder if I'm not leaving it long enough before I go. Or, is the pollen count higher in the mornings?

  • I had asthma as a child and have some lung damage. Personally I find running in the morning best, as my stomach is empty (I have breakfast when I get home) and the cooler weather helps.
