Must be a Friday night thing, took some effort to get out of the door. Daughter was reluctant as 'I don't want to be a failure again' (see W7R1). After some discussion we decided that being a failure would be staying at home sitting on the sofa watching TV. Took it real steady, and time seemed to fly by, upped the pace for the last 5 min, and managed a sprint finish. A real confidence boost - best wishes to all others running over the weekend!

Woohoo! Well done to both of you You're absolutely right, the only 'failure' is not getting out of the door. After that, there are no bad runs or failed runs, just runs that didn't go as you expected! Always remember that you are out there running and even if you set out to run for 20 minutes and only managed 10, it's 10 more than you would have done if you'd stayed at home. But you smashed this one and that's just brilliant!
Thank you! I'm always pleased when a Friday night run goes well, as it makes a good start for the weekend. Slow and steady gets you there has become our new motto!
