In case you didn't know, it's hot.

Did 'interval C25k' with Mrs R this morning. She has gone back to W4 or so of C25k after missng a few weeks. We go out together and jog her run sections together at her pace, then I run hard for her walk bits - up the track and then back to join her fpr the next jog bit. Is quite a good system for us both. I got 4 miles done in total. Was rather hot though, and humid and still. was just no oxygen to suck down.

I can't quite remember when the '[leasant running conditions period' was. We seemed to have tipped over from cold, dark, horizontal sleet to furnace of Hell without anything between.

I like what you're doing and might use that. My husband had just stayed c25k abs in doing my normal 3 runs a week then doing an extra one with him but as he's doing it so I'm walking too. Maybe I'll try what you are doing and use that as one of my main runs. He's much quicker than me though so my jog is still probably the same pace as his walk!

Didnt you mean 'cold, dark, horizontal sleet to furnace of Hell and BACK again?' ( if previous experience is anything to go by, winter will start again Saturday )

but I like the solution to the ' different running ' abilities/ requirements..... you could ( as you always say) through in a FEW squats on the way round :P

How lovely that you're running together Rignold, but I bet you're a hard taskmaster! Youll be having the poor woman doing all sorts of squats and lunges in no time. Just break her in gently.

I know! Mad int it. It's great to be out there though just running/walking. Make the most of it cos it won't last.

I got drenched yesterday while trying to do a circuit of my lawn in bare feet. It was very refreshing though and cheaper than going to the baths

Well, what a differnce a day makes... we now have the torrential rain I had hoped for during Kanye West's performance on Saturday.

On the plus side this means my running activity for the day: Dad's race at school sports day, has been cancelled: hoorah!

We havent had any rain so far today, but it is decidedly cooler xxx

The sun has come out here - just as I was starting to think seriously about going for a run tonight! We'll have to see if I still feel brave enough by 7pm, or if it'll be too warm for me again... RainbowChild 2 is wanting to do C25k now, so we might manage to go out together - although I don't think I'll be running off ahead and back instead of walking. Yes, total wimp, me. :)
