W6R3 - 2nd attempt.....

I tried W6R3 last Friday but pulled up short at 23 minytes, was soooo tired and thought I was dying! Anyway as I posted I said I would be trying again tonight and I DID IT!!! I can now say I have run for 25 minutes, the last 5 was tough but I really didn't feel in any real danger of stopping before the end like last time, I seemed to get my breathing a lot better and got into a good rhythm and stayed there. Dead chuffed with myself. I see Week 7 all runs are 25 mins so I just have to do it again 3 times and I now know I can.

Oh well done! That sounds really positive. You hit your stride! It's fantastic when that happens. I can remember when it happened to me. I was running and not even thinking about it and when I came-to it hit me like a slap in the chops. Good int it

So Week 7 then. I think you will find it a tad easier than week 6, which is a tricky week indeed. Just keep going steady. You don't need to speed up at all, just keep going nice and slowly, giving yourself breathing space and you'll be fine. Take your day off in between.
