Race for Life

Very chuffed as I did my Race for Life today and did what I set out to do which was run all the way! Have raised about £230 in sponsorship too so even being overtaken by walkers (which I was,repeatedly!!) can't put a dampener on things!!!

Thanks! I did it in honour of my amazing auntie who sadly died in 2012 from leukaemia so I wanted to make a special effort with the whole thing.

I was terrified! Longest I'd run before today was 4.18K so nearly but not quite. You'll be fine though - the sheer determination of I WILL DO THIS gets you round!

Thank you all so much! It's so great to know that you all get exactly what it means to be someone who 14 weeks ago was about to start C25K barely able to run 60 seconds but is now someone who can run 4.93K (haha!!) 😃😇
