Haven't posted for a while, but I'm still here and still running. First anniversary of graduation run coming up next week closely followed by Herne Bay Race for Life - my first public run.
I'm back to running 4K on a regular basis (still takes me 32mins +). Still listening to Laura's Week 9 music - the "Original Salsa" really helps me get to the end. But as I finish the 4K, my phone loops back to Week 1 and the warm-up "This is the greatest day" - and you know what? It was. It hurt. I was nervous. I ran in secret and I could hardly get out of a chair for the next 48 hours - but it WAS the greatest day because it was the beginning of a new life.
I am so pleased I did it. It's still hard to get out of the door sometimes. It's really hard to fit in the time at the moment with work and the rest of my life. But it is SO worth it. I feel ten years younger than I did a year ago and I think I look better too. Can't stop telling people....

I feel the same, and like you I still listen to Wk 6 R3, Wk 9 and often warm up or down to the Wk 1 greatest day tune because it really resonated with me when I started out. I know a lot of people are glad to wave bye bye to Laura and her cheesy tunes, but I find they still really help me. I mix it up a bit with other stuff, but I find myself returning to her again and again. I just passed my 1 yr anniversary, and am so glad I found this programme and this forum. It's the only truly completely positive experience I've ever had!
I didn't realise we were co-graduates. Well done you. You're spot on though about the programme AND the forum. I'm not sure I would have got through the first without the second. And I like Laura's music....
