I have lost over 3.5 stone since last June and still have a way to go. In April I discovered the NHS Podcast Couch Potato to 5k. I can honestly say thanks to this I am a total convert to running. I am about to start week 8 and have not felt so good in years.

Ha ha! Fab-u-lous! You're in good company here. Lots of us new to running and enjoying it like we never imagined,many of having never set foot in a pair of trainers, me included

I have lost 4 stone 3 lbs with a combo of healthy eating and running. I walk a lot too, borrowing dogs to take with me to keep me out there.

I have an injury at the minute so am not running and am champing at the bit to get back out there

Take great care, taking things slowly and carefully and you'll be fine

Yep - it is amazing this running lark! Makes you feel like a totally new person :) You've done great to get this far and it sounds like you are well motivated to get to the end (or will that be the beginning?????). Good luck :)

Wonderful to hear. While the running won't make the pounds drop off super fast, it will certainly make you feel better and more motivated to carry on with the diet. Well done for getting so far already :)
