My first rainy run this morning. Glasses, running and rain. Not good. I guess I could dig out my contacts, but not sure I'm awake enough at 5.30am to put them in!
In other news W4R2. Tick. I even ran up a hill.

Well done on the run success.
I always wear a cap when it is raining. The peak keeps my face dry (ish) and it makes me feel slightly less like a drowned rat.
Fortunately I can see well enough without mine to run, but it's a pain.
The only one I could find was my 15 yr olds winter wooly one. Thought that would be far too hot! A little trip to the sports shop in my lunch hour today.
Thanks for the congrats. It took a lot of will power to get out of bed this morning. Glad I did though!
Yes, wet glasses are a pain. Not only is it virtually impossible to see anything, I also find that the frames feel ice cold against the skin when they're wet. And of course rain means wet t-shirt which means risk of nibble rub (guess that's more of a problem for us blokes without sports bras). But apart from all that it's great to run in the rain
Well done for w4r2
BTW I read some great advice on here once about making sure you pump your arms when running uphill. It really works
Thanks for the advice, arms will be another thing to think about next time I'm out. Although at the moment the main thing I think about is breathing! I find myself counting to keep a rhythm, seems to help. Hat purchased, rain or shine I'm ready. ☔️
I have found that if it is raining the cap is good but I can't wear it if it is warm.
With mad hair I need something to keep it under control!
Well done on W4R2. Keep up the good work.
