Isn’t it just lovely to be out in + temperatures again! After a decedent rest day at end of week (fabulous spa day with sister followed by delicious meal out - every rest day should be like that!) we felt the need to start week 6 early ( usually have 2 rest days between weeks).
Really glad I did as later start meant we could get round the wood -
THIS is Dog by the way, we lost our old boy (as in my avatar) at the end of last year but it still feels wrong to replace his avatar piccie as I always used him. So introducing Keira our gorgeous rescue girlie who’s been our absolute joy since Feb this year and my encourager and run companion since we started our first one in October!.....this is reason I started C25K and the reason I’ll keep running (cause she’ll not go back to just walks now)🤣....

Looks a beautiful place to run . Dogs bring so much happiness don't you think. I know what it's like to lose a dog but look what you did by giving another dog a great home, love , walks and now running.
Aw that’s rubbish, was a lovely morning with us early on but the rain has now well and truly reached scotland☔️☹️ how’re your feet/tendons doing? Hope you’re on the mend👍
Too early to say I reckon, still sore, but doing the exercises as per GP info, and icing afterwards. Off to Barcelona in the morning so I’m going to forget about it for a week. Lots of stuff booked, so looking forward to it 😁
Urgh! Isnt it quite revolting when the sludge seeps through the open weave of trainers and soaks your socks🥴 mind how you go in all that slippery mud Jacca👍
😂😂 I know I’m trying to look at it like an expensive spa treatment mmm sludge - makes my feet so soft- until I nearly fall or ossie ( above) drags me too fast and I’m doing that wonderful graceful windmill thing with my arms desperately trying not to land in it 😁

Thanks Jerichomile, I was beginning to feel bit of a fraud talking about Dog and not having different pup in photo, so felt the need to explain...this is possibly one of the many reasons I don’t do social media.. overthinking it just a tad?!!!
Spa was incredible - day off work for it made it even more decedent! Definitely recommend it as part of the C25K journey👍

Ah I think everyone here would understand about Dog. This forum seems to set a higher bar for compassion and general humanity than some social media so I feel we’re all pretty likely to be well understood and treated kindly here. Just my own opinion and experience of this forum.
