Why didn't you all tell me!!!

I did my wk6 run 3 today! I had been dreading it no walking! What would I do?, how long would I last? Well I did it and surprisingly very comfortable. I went out thinking I would give it a go (so if I failed I wouldn't feel too bad). Once I got into it after about 5 minutes I settled into my stride and found it my most enjoyable run! I think the walking breaks have been holding me back a bit. After 10-15 minutes I felt great, breathing was ok and the steady pace helped!

Iv also in the passed runs clock watched, holding my phone in my hand to countdown how long til next walk but today I put it in my sock (on my arm) (Google it) and just ran. The time went quicker and I focused on my run rather than time.

Good luck to everyone on the plan and if your in the first few runs believe me it gets easier!!!

P.s Iv signed up for the Wigan 10k in September something a few months ago would never dream of!!

Well done.

Everyone is different. I like you found it much easier to just run after week 6 whereas others really miss the walking breaks.

rock n roll iceice :D it is amazing how the addiction to running sneeks up on you :D just keep doing what you are doing and you will graduate with flying colours :D

Well done on the 10K a great goal to aim for :D

well done though ,keep up the good work

It sounds like you've really found your stride, well done. It's lovely when it all comes together and you can see what its all about.

Well done you! Yeah the sock holder thing is a good idea! Haven't tried it myself yet.

Those walk / runs weren't holding you back, ice ice, they were making you stronger ... Now you're released to find your stride and endure!!!

All the best for your target 10km :-)
