I've psyched myself up to join the masses!

From my hotel room I've watched a constant stream of individuals running/jogging/walking along the promenade for the past three days, all abilities, sizes and ages. Having done the last week 4 runs in the hotel gym I'm off to do WK5 Run1 beside the sea, can't wait. I'll sneak out of the room at 7am before my husband even knows I've gone and after I'll cool down in the hotel pool.

👍UPDATE - I DID IT! It's a very long promenade especially with a head wind, but I kept going and had the energy to keeping on going for an extra 5 minutes. The pool was soooo refreshing - swimming after a run has certainly help prevent any aches so far after 26 runs/walks. Now off to refuel before another day of 10,000+ steps of walking around the Isle of Man. Home tonight!

Happy running everyone!

Hi helkin, you did well running the prom in the headwind! I'm on the island and i couldn't face the weather, though might get out later! Well done you, the prom is a great place to run.

Thanks Sparky, It's a great place to live - hopefully I'll be back in the future to tackle a more challenging run.
